As social animals, humans have craved, created, cultivated communities and communal practices. The internet, and social media in particular, has paradoxically made the world a much smaller place and its people more isolated.

We have the opportunity and imperative to think about how we can build and maintain thriving communities, how we can prioritize and care for the humans we know and those we don’t who are nevertheless impacted by ripples of our actions, and be good stewards of planet, people and technology when it isn’t in the best interest of capital.

Where do we want to go? How might we reimagine possibilities? What collective actions can we take?
